Invasive Diagnostic and Therapy Department

The Department was established in 1994. It is equipped with Karl Storz Laparoscope, large surgical set, Sonoca-400, “Lithostar Multiline” Lithotriptor produced by Siemens which all enhance performance of complicated diagnostic and treating manipulations with general anaesthetic and 24-hour care after patients. The Department includes 24-hour hospital with 15 beds.

 The main goal of the Department is to perform invasive studies and treating manipulations that need special diagnostic and treatment equipment – puncture, drainage of cavities and CT-control, surgical endoscopy, diagnostic laparoscopy and laparoscopic operations of abdominal cavity, small pelvis and others.

 Out-patient Diagnostic and Therapy Unit

The Department is aimed at complex treatment of patients, preparation of patients for complex instrumental studies, surgical treatment and confirmation of diagnosis. Average number of patients, staying in the hospital is 65-88 people per day. The Department treats patients that do not need constant hospital care and medical supervision. The facilities of the other departments of the Diagnostic Center are used for diagnosis.

The specialists of the department deal with nervous system disorders, digestive organs diseases, and disorders of circulatory system, urogenital system of women, endocrine system, and musculoskeletal system. The following modern treatment methods are used together with conventional ones:

Ø      Poly-segment electroacupuncture
